On September 26, Tri State Restorations representative Jack Bowen volunteered at local area non-profit, Comfort Cases to help pack backpacks with essential care items for kids in foster care.
Comfort Cases helps children in the foster care system by providing backpacks full of essential items and age-appropriate extras like stuffed animals, art supplies, books, and more!
Over 700 children enter the foster care system every single day. Most are given a trash bag to carry their belongings… These children have been neglected and often feel like they don’t matter. Many do not own a toothbrush or have a pair of pajamas. Comfort Cases, Inc. believes that every child deserves to feel a sense of dignity. Every child deserves to pack their belongings in a special bag that they can call their very own.
