IN THE WAKE OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC TRI STATE RESTORATIONS PROVIDES COMPLIMENTARY DISINFECTION & BIOHAZARD CLEANING SERVICES FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT
Clarksburg, Md. – April 21, 2020 Tri State Restorations LLC (TSR) owners Mark and Tara Wilson knew they wanted to help out their local community in crisis during this pandemic, but didn’t know how their services would best be used. Then they thought, what if we tried to help those on the frontline by offering complimentary disinfection and biohazard cleaning services. Not only would this reduce the risk of covid-19 exposure to employees and their families, by cleaning their high traffic emergency vehicles it would help flatten the curve on coronavirus.
On Tuesday, April 21, the Tri State Restorations team met with Montgomery County Police Department’s Captain, Mark Plazinski at the MCPD 5th district facility located on Aircraft Drive in Germantown, Md. to offer complimentary disinfection and biohazard cleaning services for his fleet of police cruisers. In an effort to catch officers during their daily shift changes, TSR included two rounds of specialty deep cleaning for cruisers, which began at 6am Tuesday morning.
Certified technicians arrived onsite donning appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazard gear consisting of respiratory PPE (full and half-face respirators and face shields,) gloves, booties and protective coveralls. Their arsenal included EPA registered hospital-grade disinfectant products that are approved for use with emerging viral pathogens and human coronavirus, along with the latest cleaning technologies like TSR’s ULV Fogger and Hygiena ATP surface testers.
