In celebration of National Business Women’s Week (Oct. 18-24), Tri State Restorations Co-Owner, Tara Wilson, is this month’s featured employee!
Since its creation in 1928, the observance of NBWW has focused on the accomplishments of women to recognize and honor their achievements, calling attention to the leadership of working women and local women entrepreneurs.
In appreciation of everything she does for TSR, we’re honored to highlight Tara’s many achievements this month! Since the company’s inception in 2007, her involvement has been of vital importance. Tara wears many hats in her role as co-owner with husband, President & CEO Mark Wilson, and mom of 6, her day-to-day involvement includes oversight of TSR’s training, billing, accounting and reconstruction services just to name a few. She’s also IICRC certified for water, mold, blood borne pathogens, fire & smoke remediation services, bringing with her a wealth of experience and industry knowledge.
“For me, owning a business is not just about successfully running a company and providing our customers and business partners with the best service possible, it’s also about making sure that we’re here to support our community – especially during hard times like Covid-19! Because we’re not just a locally owned and operated business, we’re also your neighbors. That’s why I feel obligated to make every effort to give back. I’d say our biggest success in 2020 was creating the TSR’s Gives Back program so that we could provide support and relief to area residents through food & toy drives and special service offers. I love being able to help mitigate disasters, but I love being a part of the DMV community even more!” – Tara Wilson
